treatment 3 and possibly a shock for the postman

Today was treatment number three, Rob left me in bed when he went to work as he does unless he knows I have to get up for a specific reason.  At 8.30 I was woken by a loud bang on the door, I grabbed my dressing gown and dashed down the stairs, not a good plan when I have just woken up.  Luckily the postie waited, I signed for the parcel and turned round to catch sight of myself in the mirror, woops had no head covering, oh well the postie didn't say anything or look too shocked.  Pottered about for a while ate some breakfast and had a cup of my redbush tea.

Kakes and I were eventually ready by 10.30 to get to Taunton for 11.15 typically the traffic wasn't great, and when we got to the hospital the roundabout was closed as the air ambulance was just taking off.  Got to the Beacon at 11.14.  Unfortunately the lovely lady I was talking to last time was in another bay this time, but we waved and her husband came and said hello and we had a nice chat.  Lovely lunch man brought lunch round and offered it to Kakes as well this time which was nice, she declined as she had brought lunch with her after last time.  She did have coffee and biscuits when he came back with my tea and biscuits though.  When my treatment finish went and had a chat with the lovely lady from last time, I went to school with her son, she is having 4 treatments and the next one is her last, I hope we are in the same bay next time.  Turns out her husband ran the footie team Rob played for in his teens.

Have done most of my college work for uploading by Tuesday, still have lots to do for two weeks on from then though.

Had a lovely text from my dear friend P (not putting your whole name because I haven't asked if I can but you know who you are) there is a get together at her's tomorrow and if I am up to it she has offered to come and get me even if it is just for coffee, but I am welcome for lunch if I can cope, will see what tomorrow brings, it will of course be a huge boost if I can make it as nothing is better medicine than good friends, good food and laughter.

Signing off for now as this seems to be a very long blog.
